The goal of the thesis is the design of a new type of device that is able to track the movements of a user with mild cognitive disease. The devices should have localization capabilities, feature an active connection to the Internet, have an intelligent energy management, and be suitable for integration into everyday objects, such as clothing, keyrings, netcklaces, belts, shoes, etc.

The device will be based on existing development boards for wearable systems and will include the design phase as well as a first prototyping and testing stage. In addition to the main localization feature, the device might host additional sensors and capabilities, while maintaining extreme usability and transparent operation.
